Introduction

Monica Uchenna Igeze, professionally known as Prinny Moni (born October 2, 2000), is a multi-talented African-Italian UK-based rapper, singer, songwriter, entertainer, hairdresser, and professional makeup artist. She is the founder and owner of Prinny L’argent, a hair, beauty, and fashion business established in 2014 (originally PHB Salon).

After experiencing a personal and professional turning point in 2020, Prinny shifted her focus entirely to her music career. She co-founded the music group Triple B (Bad Bitch Bars) with her friend Sia, before pursuing a solo career, though she continues to honor her roots with Triple B in her music. Known for her love of bright, blinging colors—especially pink—Prinny exudes energy, confidence, and a unique sense of style.

Fluent in Italian, English, and Benin, she is currently learning French as her fourth language. Despite past struggles with anxiety, Prinny has developed strategies to manage it while thriving in her career.

Early Life & Background

Prinny was born in Perugia, Italy, and is of mixed Nigerian heritage (Igbo & Edo). She grew up in a challenging environment, navigating family difficulties from a young age, which shaped her resilience and determination.

She attended La Squola Di Pierantonio in Umbertide for her early education before relocating to the United Kingdom in 2009 with her family. Despite early academic challenges, Prinny excelled in practical subjects, achieving four distinctions in IT while completing her GCSEs.

Prinny began working in hair and beauty at the age of 13 and opened her first salon at 17 in Manchester, eventually expanding to a larger salon in Rochdale in 2019. Her entrepreneurial drive and creativity have always been central to her journey.
